In 1993, the movie Jurassic Park took the world by storm with its compelling characters, excellent cinematography, industry-altering special effects, and… unfortunately, faulty science. While dinosaurs had been popular, this modern classic of a film rocketed these reptilian beasts to a new level of stardom. And while the film’s sequels have been hit or miss, it’s difficult to overstate the effect the franchise has had on public perception of dinosaurs.
The question remains–is building a Jurassic Park possible? Common sense tells us no. Even more common sense says, “There’s been a whole movie franchise dedicated to telling us that it would be a bad idea to even attempt something like this.”
But what does the science say? How possible is it really?
Join host Trey and paleobiochemist Dr. Brian Thomas as they discuss this fascinating topic on episode 105 of The Creation Podcast.

Geologist Dr. Tim Clarey spent 13 years digging into rock layers from every continent on Earth, and what he found doesn't match what most people were taught in school. This conversation lays out the evidence that confirms the biblical timeline and events.
Trey sits down with Dr. Michael Boyle to talk about his time in mainstream science, what ultimately led him to the Institute for Creation Research, and how that journey reshaped his worldview. They also dive into Dr. Boyle's fascinating research on blind cavefish.
In this episode of the Creation Podcast, host Mary Clair sits down with Dr. Randy Guliuzza, president of the Institute for Creation Research, to expose a flaw at the very foundation of Darwinian theory: the personification of nature.
People know the Institute for Creation Research for its scientists and research — but behind everything they do is a team of people building real relationships with the donors who make it all possible. Today, host Mary Clair Kelly sits down with James Gadberry, Director of Development and Donor Relations, and Regina Krieg, Director of Planned Giving, to share their personal faith journeys and the remarkable stories that have shaped their time at ICR.
Netflix has released a new “documentary” series called The Dinosaurs… Today Trey sits down with Dr. Tim Clary — PhD geologist and director of research at ICR with over 40 years in the field — to expose what the four-part documentary gets wrong, what it deliberately ignores, and what the actual fossil record shows, before revealing why the biblical account of creation and Noah's Flood offers a far more consistent and compelling explanation for what we actually find in the ground.
