TC PODCAST W/ TINA VON KUGLER
From Venice to Berlin, Bogotá to Mumbai, Italian DJ Tina von Kugler brings underground scenes from around the world to the dance floor. Since moving to Berlin in 2016, Tina has been deeply involved in the city's underground. She co-founded the collective Klub Ostkreuz (KOX), a 13-person flatshare that grew into an informal club and forest raves, keeping the free party spirit alive. In 2020, she joined THF Radio, curating shows that spotlight underrepresented voices, emerging artists, and collectives from social, cultural, and political backgrounds, using radio as a platform for connection and inclusion. Tina's techno is groovy, and percussion-driven, inspired by the raw energy of the 90s. Her sets blend acid, electro, breakbeat, and ghetto-funk influences with driving rhythms and playful twists. Focused on momentum and movement, she creates high-energy journeys that connect contemporary club sounds with the raw, rhythmic spirit of early techno culture. Tina has brought her sound to across continents, performing at clubs such as Antisistema and Tunnel in Colombia, Vantek in Vancouver, Horn in Bangkok, Waves and Khar Social in Mumbai, Komplex in Lisbon, and Error Klub in Lima. In Berlin, she has played at renowned venues including Renate, Kit Kat, OXI, Aeden and Club OST, steadily building her presence across diverse underground scenes worldwide.
