17. Veteran Stripper Chiqui Love on gold diggers, dating vs escorting, and 20 years in the industry
The Whore's BedroomShow Notes
Chiqui Love joins me for a lively discussion on her decades of experience as a stripper, how sex work has changed her approach to both dating and feminism, and how the industry has changed since she got her start in London in the early 2000’s.
Chiqui Love is a stripper, burlesque, and cabaret artist and all round erotic entertainer. With over 22 years’ experience in the industry, she combines different elements of performance into her own unique style, and is also a sex worker rights advocate. She was the founding member of not one, but two stripper’s collectives, one in London and one in Berlin.

You asked me for advice - I answered. The Whore's Bedroom episode 38!
I guess this is my coming out episode? I've got a lot to update you guys on.
I met Rhys Phillips in London to dive into his work: being a male escort who services women and couples. Our jobs are technically the same, but there are so many interesting differences that I was so excited to ask him about. I absolutely loved this conversation and hope you guys do too!
You have been asking me - how do I become an escort? What tips do you have for beginners in the industry? I'm finally answering that, and giving my advice for anyone who is interested in entering the world of full service sex work. This advice will also be helpful for those who are already established in the industry in other locations, but are looking for logistical information about specifically working in Europe.
