Ariel Kaye built her dream, and it was beautiful. For over a decade she served as the founder and CEO of Parachute Home, and the experience felt deeply in alignment.

This fall, I’m taking 16 women to the Arizona desert for a 4-day Women’s Retreat, October 22–25. Think meditation, yoga, long walks in nature, curated meals, and space to actually breathe- all designed to help you slow down and reset. We’re keeping it to just 16 women, and there’s a special rate available through May 10th if it’s calling to you.

JP and I find ourselves in what feels like the hardest season of parenting we’ve had. Between our eldest getting ready for college, and our three other children becoming more and more busy as they get older, it feels like we’re in a period of crescendo as a family… a crescendo that might not quiet down for a couple of years.
I posted a reel last week about how I parent teens as a sober mom, and it led to a lot of important questions popping up in my DMs: Do my kids drink? What are my rules around drinking? Do I talk to my kids about alcohol?
There are so many things in midlife that feel ungrounding. Our bodies are changing in wildly uncomfortable ways. Our children are getting older (and maybe leaving the nest). We’re facing the reality of aging parents. And then there’s something that I hear so many women speak about: a persistent midlife itch that there is something more for us. A next chapter. A new calling. Yet, what exactly that ‘new thing’ is rarely feels clear. So today, we’re going to talk about it:
Jaemi Pierson is one of the most inspiring people I follow on Instagram, so I had to bring her wisdom straight to you on WithIn!
Last week I found myself in my closet, overcome by a heavy bout of The Sunday Scaries - It wasn’t anxiety about the approaching Monday, but anxiety about the entire fall season. After a beautiful summer focused on my family, the realities of the fall felt like too much to face.
