Part 2 of a two-part interview, where I sit down with Bretto — a bloke whose life has been anything but normal. Raised in witchcraft, initiated into esoteric arts, and tangled up with ancient spirits, ghosts, yowie, and cryptid encounters, his story is a wild ride through Australia’s paranormal underbelly. We talk summoning rituals in the bush, haunted houses, Yowie encounters in Wee Jasper and the North coast of NSW, and the terrifying moment he made contact with a horned entity straight out of the old world. There’s even past life memories, spirit clearings, and strange bush energies that defy explanation. This is part 2 so make sure you listen to part 1 first.
If you’re into witchcraft, cryptids, ghosts, or ancient forces that lurk just beyond the veil — you’re in the right place. Welcome to Cliffhanger: Paranormal & Cryptid Encounters. Stay sharp. Trust your instincts. And remember — if the bush goes quiet, you’re not alone. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

An enormous pair of glowing yellow eyes lurking in the darkness, mysterious little hairy beings stalking teenagers through the bush, and not one, but TWO haunted childhood homes. In this episode of Cliffhanger, I'm joined by my younger brother Ayden, who finally shares his firsthand account of a bizarre series of encounters in Narrawallee Creek Reserve on the NSW South Coast. From a terrifying encounter with a massive, unidentified creature to strange gifts, flying rocks, mimicked bird calls and possible Junjudee activity, there's plenty to unpack. Ayden also shares some more recent experiences in a different stretch of bush, involving mysterious wood knocks and potential gift giving, before we reminisce about growing up in two incredibly haunted houses. Just what was lurking in the bush that night, and what was following these teenagers through the forest? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
In this episode, I’m joined by Matty, who grew up not far from the infamous Pilliga Forest and has experienced strange and disturbing phenomena since childhood. Matty shares his experiences with dark and potentially demonic entities, along with encounters involving both angelic and demonic beings around his childhood property.
Trent joins me from Queensland to share a lifetime of experiences that blur the line between life, death and whatever might exist in between. After being trapped beneath the surf and reaching the point where he believed he was going to die, Trent experienced something profound. An overwhelming sense of peace, followed by what he describes as leaving his body and witnessing events unfolding from above, before suddenly finding himself back underwater fighting his way to the surface. But that’s only one chapter of his story. We dive into eerie encounters with shadow people, including figures witnessed by multiple members of his family and some unsettling experiences that seem to have followed the family across generations. Trent also shares the incredible connection he believes he still has with his late grandfather. From being inexplicably drawn directly to his grave, to receiving what seemed like a warning moments before a problem aboard a flight. Near death, out of body experiences, shadow people and a bond with a loved one that may have continued long after his passing. This one goes deep. Hosted on Acast. In this episode of Cliffhanger, I’m joined by local bloke Dazza, who shares a lifetime of terrifying paranormal experiences dating back to childhood. Dazza describes being tormented by malevolent entities and some particularly disturbing encounters with beings seemingly capable of mimicking people from their physical appearance, to sounds they make right down to familiar smells.
Australia’s most infamous Yowie hotspot takes centre stage in Part Two. Rod shares years of remarkable Yowie encounters from the legendary Pilliga, along with experiences from Sundown National Park and a private property near the Queensland–NSW border. From a face to face sighting of a juvenile Yowie he describes as strikingly chimpanzee like, to catching a glimpse of a massive pair of powerful orange legs disappearing through the bush, Rod recounts the moments that convinced him these elusive creatures are very real. We also explore reports of an unsettling encounter involving a Yowie grabbing Rod's mate in his swag during the night, along with the behaviours, habitats and patterns Rod has documented over years of investigating these mysterious beings. If you’re fascinated by Australia’s Bigfoot phenomenon, this is an episode you won’t want to miss. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
