Show Notes
In this episode, we explore The Magnificent “7” of Healing, a framework popularized by Dr. Robert Rakowski that breaks wellness into seven core areas: The Magnificent 7: • Eat Right: Choose whole, nutrient-dense foods that nourish your cells and calm inflammation. • Drink Right: Hydrate with clean, mineral-rich water to support digestion, detoxification, and energy. • Think Right: Cultivate positive, empowering thoughts to support stress resilience and healing. • Move Right: Engage in daily movement that you enjoy to boost circulation, lymph flow, and emotional well-being. • Sleep Right: Prioritize deep, restorative sleep to repair cells, regulate hormones, and strengthen your immune system. • Poop Right: Support healthy elimination to detoxify, balance hormones, and maintain gut health. • Talk Right: Use words thoughtfully, to yourself and others, to reduce stress and foster connection. In this episode, we share: • Practical tips for implementing each of the Magnificent 7 into your life • How we’ve applied these principles on our own journeys • Mindset shifts that turn small habits into powerful tools for healing • Realistic ways to focus on progress, not perfection These foundational steps can help anyone improve their health, energy, and well-being… because true healing often starts with the simplest actions.

More from I've Got Guts!
We're BACK! But the women behind the microphones aren't the same ones who started I've Got Guts! three years ago. Life has thrown us some serious curveballs, and we're kicking off Season 3 with an honest, unfiltered conversation about everything that's changed. In this episode: Stef's triple-negative breast cancer journey, chemotherapy, and double mastectomy Lauren's experiences with family health crises, caregiving, and chronic illness The emotional toll of medical trauma and unexpected diagnoses How illness changes relationships, priorities, and perspectives What we've learned about strength, grief, and self-advocacy Same friendship. Same humor. Same guts. Just two very different women with a whole lot more to say.

Stef and Lauren are back with another I’ve Got Guts! Extra and, for once, Stef’s update is refreshingly uneventful. Since the last check-in, she’s managed to stay out of the hospital…a major win during cancer treatment, even if it doesn’t exactly make for riveting podcast content. Lauren also shares an important update from her family before the girls catch up on some of the lighter things getting them through life lately: what they’re reading, what they’re watching, and what’s worth adding to your own list. It’s a little cancer update, a little real life, and plenty of the usual Stef-and-Lauren banter.
