Tis the season to be jolly and who better to kick of this Holiday Mini-Series than Rachel Burke, Australia's queen of tinsel! Rachel is known for her world famous tinsel jackets seen all over Instagram, but long before the sparkle took ahold, she was like so many creatives, trying to figure out the right steps to take and how to make a mark on her industry. Rachel's story is one we can all relate to, it was incredible to hear her journey and how she went from starting a blog where she made one dress a day for a year to having celebrities wear her fashion confections on red carpets and the stage. We talk about lofty goals, chance encounters and we throw in a dash of musical theatre in the mix. Also, stick around for our 'Festive' Fast Five where we talk all things holidays and Christmas with Rachel.

We've come to the end of another season of House of Style but we're going out in.. well, style! Stylist Steve Cordony sits down with us to chat about all the beautiful things he's been up to. You've no doubt followed his journey renovating the stunning Rosedale Farm in Orange but we take a step back and talk about his early days in magazines, what led to the farm project and of course, what's next on the cards. The renovation of Rosedale Farm was a huge undertaking and Steve explains his references, his design process and inspiration and how it all came together. We talk about the changing landscape of being a stylist and content creator and the ways to keep up with social media trends. We loved chatting with Steve, he's always such an inspiring figure in the industry and what a perfect way to wrap up the season.
This week we went on location to record at Alexander House where we interviewed Jeremy Bull, founder and director of award winning design studio Alexander and Co. We chatted with Jeremy about his journey in architecture and design and how it led to him creating his practice Alexander and Co. The ethos behind this firm is that 'exceptional design directly changes the world around us, creating greater connectivity, experience and sustainability', a message we explore with Jeremy and the lasting legacy he hopes to leave behind. This is a fantastic chat and chance to dive into the mind of an incredible creative, one of the best this country has to offer.
We're letting in you on a little secret this week... this is where all the stylist's and designers get their artwork for their shoots and homes! Our guest this week is the owner and curator of Saint Cloche gallery in Paddington, Kitty Clark. Kitty has a background in fashion merchandising working for luxury brand Gucci before making one of those all too familiar pivots into owning her own gallery. Now she's one of the most prominent figures in the art scene in Sydney with regular shows and a great eye for up and coming talent. We delve into how she got started, how she curates shows and of course whats next on the cards for Saint Cloche. We're big fans of Kitty so we're thrilled to share her story with you all!
This week Kerrie-Ann and Jono revisit the world of interiors magazines, albeit from a slightly different angle. We're talking with editor Tanya Buchanan who overseas not one but TWO homes titles, Australian House & Garden and Belle magazine. We explore the path she took through the world of publishing, with a pit stop at RM Williams along the way, and how she made her way to run two of Australia's most successful homes titles. With the print media landscape constantly evolving, we analyse what is it about Australia's obsession with their homes and how it keeps this industry alive, and what is on the cards for the future.
