We've all had that moment at the airport, heaving a bag onto the scale and watching the number flash red. Loaded opens right there, then asks a bigger question: what if the weight we're actually carrying with money was never really about how much we have?
In week one we look at a group of churches in ancient Macedonia, people living in genuine poverty who somehow became the most generous example Paul had ever seen, and the deeper reason he gives for it, one that has nothing to do with fundraising and everything to do with what Jesus already gave up.
Generosity, it turns out, was never a function of surplus. It's a decision. And it goes first.

Most of us have asked an AI a question we wouldn't ask another person. It answers in seconds, never sighs, and never judges. In Part 2 of Human, Still, Clint looks at an old story about a people who were tired of waiting for God to speak, so they built something that would answer on demand. AI isn't a golden calf, but the pattern is worth noticing. We made it smart, and that doesn't make it sacred. Along the way we find out what a very old warning about idols has to say about the phone in your pocket. We also look at how God answered his people's need for a voice, and where to go first when you need an answer nobody else can give.
AI can already make your life better. Faster answers, smarter routines, a more polished version of you with less effort than ever. This series doesn't pretend otherwise, it really can deliver on a lot of what it promises. But in this opening message we ask the question that actually matters: can something make you better, and still leave you exactly as empty as before? An ancient story about two people hiding in a garden says the real human problem was never a capability gap. It was a relationship, broken. And it turns out what you need was never an upgrade. It was a rescue.
Last week LOADED made the case for giving first, a decision that goes before anything else touches your account. This week we look at investing. Jesus tells a strikingly powerful story, about three servants entrusted with a fortune, one of whom buries what he's given out of fear rather than risk, and gets confronted for it. His fear, it turns out, was never really about the money. It was about who he believed the master to be.
The journey from Israel’s impossible moment at the Red Sea to Jesus’ promise of true freedom, revealing how God confronts both the visible chains and the hidden masters within us.
