On December 11, 1994, 4-year-old D’Wan Sims, went with his mother Dwanna Harris to do some Christmas shopping at the Wonderland Mall in Livonia, Michigan. According to Dwanna, they arrived around 1:45 PM and entered through the Target store at the mall. D’Wan followed his mother around the mall until one horrible moment when Dwanna realized her son was no longer by her side. A massive search ensued, but there was no sign of the little boy. As the investigation intensified, Livonia police began to wonder, “was D’Wan ever at the mall in the first place?” Now, over thirty years later, investigators are still trying to figure out exactly what happened on that cold December day, and hoping to finally find D’Wan. If you have information about the disappearance of D’Wan Sims, please contact the Livonia Police Department at 734-466-2470. When Ron Lieberman couldn’t find his wife, 31-year-old Sneha Philip on September 11, 2001, he didn’t think that her disappearance had anything to do with the attacks. After all, he had been home the night before, and she wasn’t there. But their apartment was just a seven-minute walk from the World Trade Center, and Sneha was a doctor. Could she have been nearby that morning and rushed in to help the victims? This question became the basis of a years-long legal battle to get Sneha recognized as one of the victims of 9/11. Will new technology finally be able to provide proof that Sneha was there that morning? If you have any information about the disappearance of Dr. Sneha Anne Philip, please contact the NYPD Missing Persons Squad at 212-694-7781. Tips can be kept anonymous. You can also call NYPD Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. On Monday, September 10, 2001, Sneha Anne Philip, a 31-year-old doctor, was seen on CCTV shopping at Century 21, a discount department store near the World Trade Center in lower Manhattan. She paid for her purchases using a credit card, left the store, and has never been seen again. The next morning, the world changed when nearly 3,000 people were killed in the September 11 terror attacks. For years, Sneha’s family battled New York City to have her name added to the list of victims. Sneha Philip has been given two different dates of death, but no trace of her has ever been found. Did she die on September 11 trying to save people, as her family contends, or were the attacks simply a coincidence that has kept her fate a mystery for the past 25 years? If you have any information about the disappearance of Dr. Sneha Anne Philip, please contact the NYPD Missing Persons Squad at 212-694-7781. Tips can be kept anonymous. On March 21, 2023, 41-year-old attorney Steve Cozzi was seen on CCTV entering his office at The Blanchard Law Firm. He was never seen leaving. When he missed a hearing and co-workers couldn’t locate him, they called 911. When police arrived, they found evidence of a violent scene in the men’s bathroom. Suspicion quickly fell on an unlikely suspect: Dr. Tomasz Kosowski, a successful plastic surgeon who was embroiled in a tense lawsuit with one of Steve’s clients. Though Steve Cozzi’s body was never located, investigators found enough evidence to arrest Kosowski for Steve’s murder just days later. After firing a half dozen attorneys, Kozowski ultimately decided to represent himself in his Capital Murder case. He also opted to try the case without a jury. This is part two of the trial of Tomasz Kosowski. On March 21, 2023, 41-year-old attorney Steve Cozzi kissed his husband goodbye and went to work. There was nothing special about that day. He had a telephonic hearing for one of his cases scheduled for later that morning, and he had a frozen chicken thawing in the sink for dinner. He got to the office, put on some music, and started writing emails. At 9:50, he left his office to go to the bathroom. None of his co-workers, friends, or family ever saw him again. Five days later, Dr. Tomasz Kosowski, the plaintiff in the case that had the hearing the day Steve disappeared was arrested for his murder, but Steve’s body wasn’t found. After three-and-a-half years of delays, Tomasz Kosowski finally stood trial for Steve Cozzi’s murder, and I was there. This episode was originally released on March 17, 2023. New intro was recorded on September 24, 2026. “This is a tragedy, but it’s not a crime.” This quote is from Captain Jeff Ferry, the lead investigator searching for missing Texas college student, Jason Landry. Jason, a student at Texas State University, left his apartment late in the evening on December 13, 2020, to return home to Missouri City, Texas for a quick visit. But Jason never made it home. Shortly after midnight, his car was found crashed and abandoned on a desolate road near Luling, a small town only about 30 minutes away from where he started. While Jason was nowhere to be found, he left several disturbing items behind. After two years with no sign of Jason, the Landry family is questioning the investigation and wondering more and more if this tragic ‘accident’ was actually foul play. If you have any information regarding Jason Landry’s disappearance, please contact the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office at (512) 398-6777 or the anonymous tip line at (726) 777-1359. You can also email the Texas Attorney General’s Cold Case Unit at [email protected].
