Show Notes
On yesterday's show we kicked around the idea that the LIV whale might be Trump, not investing himself but doing so through the US government and thus positioning himself as the 'saviour' of LIV.
Were he to do so, we suggested he would be insisting that LIV plays at primarily golf courses that he owns or bear his name, seems a very Trump thing to do and Nick listed off a few that fit that criteria. Brett from St Michael's Golf Club in Sydney heard the show and wanted to clarify that one of the courses mentioned is closed for renovations, and has been for nearly a decade...Brett left us a short voicemail. We're live from Titleist and FootJoy HQ thanks to our great partners:

More from Talk Birdie To Me
This is awkward. The show gets off to a poor start when Mark is insensitive to a team member, nearly derailing the entire pod for today. Trouble in paradise.
On the main show this week Nick and Mark were discussing how great Secret Harbour looked for the WA Open, a course designed by Australian legend Graham Marsh, who also designed Kalgoorlie, where the tour was last week. Nick found out in conversation last week that Marshy is redesigning Kennedy Bay in Western Australia - one of Marks favourite courses, and so we thought let's get the man himself on for a quick chat about what he's doing with Kennedy Bay.
Big show today, and we start with a stretching update from Mark. Riveting we know but as that famous golfer Taylor Swift said, the stretchers gonna stretch, stretch, stretch, stretch, stretch.
Well this is extraordinary. At the weekend Kris Clelland was playing at Lynwood Country Club in Pitt Town, Sydney, where he did something quite unbelievable: scoring an Albatross, and then on the next hole an Ace. You read that correctly.
Wolfpacker Andrew has an issue. He's a very good player, however he is plagued by slow starts in comps and always finds himself having to come from behind to perform well. He's after some thoughts from Nick and Mark who, helpfully, are happy to oblige with some actionable tips to improve and ultimately solve this dilemma of Andrews.
