Welcome to the special Black Friday epi$ode of Canal $treet Dreams. Yes we know this is dropping on Thanksgiving. Press play and you'll learn what Black Friday has meant to our families for the last year. We start out with the fun stuff; what dinosaurs does Senna want for Christmas? Have you heard of a Birkin Dinosaur? Eddie either. In all seriousness, we get deep into family business heading into this Thanksgiving. This week, we're oversharing about our families in preparation for the oversharing many listening are probably going to run into this holiday. As much as the holidays are celebrated as a time to get together with family, there are just as many people for whom the holidays are a really tough time. If that's you this year, keep your head up homie. You're a part of the Canal $treet Dreams family and you've always got a place at our leopard print, bodily-fluid-stained pool table. Love to you, yours, and ours. Whether you're with us or not, we're thankful for you.
More from Canal Street Dreams
This week, we're joined by the legendary homie Theophilus London. We kick things off with what he's been up to in his hiatus from music, and how he's been spending his time away. We talk writing processes, reminisce on the old days in New York and the value of taking a break in your creative career. We also get into some conspiracies, from all things aliens, UFOs and of course, sports betting.
This week on Canal Street Dreams, Eddie and Natashia recap the Save Our Stories banned books event, which Eddie spoke at regarding the statewide-ban of Fresh Off The Boat in Texas. They talked about Ali Velshi’s particularly touching speech on the affect of Perks of Being a Wallflower on a student, the books that find you when you need them, and why people are so pressed about what other people read.
This week on Canal Street Dreams, it’s just Eddie and Natashia, and they’re feeling too Unc’d for the VMAs. The VMAs spark a conversation about conversation about aging, keeping up with culture, and figuring out where they fit in.
Today we've got a wild episode with Greg Yuna. After recently settling Eddie and Natashia's US Open fight, Greg takes his victory lap on Canal Street Dreams. We get into how Greg built his company and his experience and aspirations in acting. We take you inside the principals office with us when we got in trouble with Ronnie Fieg (shoutout Ronnie). Then we nerd out a bit on most iconic men's jewelry pieces for rapid fire and more!
This week on Canal Street Dreams, we're starting hot with Natashia and Eddie's US Open fight leading into the Stone Island Dinner. We talk about running into people from high school that now know everything happening in our personal lives from the pod. We then get into the debate of when it's time to unfollow your old hoes?? Then, we respond to the comment section backlash on our Girly Boys reel from last week and Natashia takes a deep listener question.
