Misha Feldmann and Tony Sevener met in the vibrant Santa Barbara music scene and helped shape the band Summercamp. When Summercamp dissolved, the two remained close friends as they pursued other ventures. After years apart, the duo decided to start making music a few years ago. There was only one concern… they lived miles from one another. Not to be daunted, the two developed a unique way to communicate and record music.
Well, maybe not unique in this day and age, and in a post-COVID world, but what is unique is the quality of the music they’re creating under the moniker of Red Rose Way. Red Rose Way is an emerging alternative rock band that feels both classic and contemporary. Drawing influences from alt-rock and writing with timeless pop craftsmanship, and a dash of power-pop thrown in for extra flavor, Red Rose Way creates music that connects instantly, with heartfelt lyrics delivered with conviction and melodic power. Thanks to S.W. Lauden I got the opportunity to speak with Misha and Tony about the formation of Red Rose Way, their process, and their future.
