Your Worst Song... with Alex SoutheyShow Notes
I have Dave Bidini of Rheostatics, and founder of the West End Phoenix! We chat about reuniting with the band after years apart, having a second career as a journalist, baseball with Geddy Lee, a new project with Alex Lifeson, Tanya Tagaq, and, of course, the band's worst song.

On this (super early) new Monday episode we have the great Sunshine Express! This was a chaos in the best way. We've got multiple members, surprise members, people who didn't know this was a podcast, "characters", and more. A really fantastic, creative group of people. I don't know what I can say other than check them out at Collabfest down in the Niagara region and stream their music! They deserve your support. Enjoy!
On this new Monday episode we have the great Sydney Riley! This was a thrill of a conversation -- lots of laughs -- but more importantly lots of insights into smaller music scenes such as the ones existing in Collingwood, Wasaga, and Barrie. Collingwood, in particular, is notable because of (Sydney says) the local folks' appreciation for buskers. Enjoy!
Uploaded to the main feed so people can get a sense of what the bonus thursday patreon episodes are like! Next week (on the bonus thursday patreon) I'll make sure to discuss playing in theeeee dirty Shwa at the Atria, which was fun but characteristically odd.Interested in subscribing? I chat with Miles about touring and playing live from such a young age, the influence of musician parents, the process of putting out one's own music, and wild green rooms. Enjoy!
