Holding Space with Tracy E. GilchristShow Notes
Titanique star Frankie Grande joins Tracy for a Backstage on Broadway special episode where they discuss his witty, moving memoir, Supergay! In his dressing room at the St. James Theatre they chat about how being queer is a super power, gender presentation, recovery, Bowie, a perilous and hilarious hike he took with his sister, Ariana Grande, Broadway, recovery, and fisting (sort of). It's all there! Frankie was the first guest on "Holding Space with Tracy" when we launched in December. We are forever grateful to him for being the first and bringing all of his wit, intellect, and ability to hold space.

RuPaul's Drag Race alum Plasma joins Holding Space With Tracy at The Stonewall Inn for a conversation about her drag origin story, loving musical theater, and honoring women like Marilyn Monroe and Barbra Streisand through the art of drag. Plasma gets into her coming out as a gay young person to open-minded parents in Northeast Texas, where kids rode horses to school and there was a goat farm across the street. #plasma #rupaulsdragrace #LGBTQ #podcast #interview
As part of the Holding Space with Tracy Stonewall Sessions, recorded at the birthplace of the modern LGBTQ rights movement, drag artist and activist Marti Cummings joins Tracy in a conversation that ranges from Cats: The Jellicle Ball to divas like Liza Minnelli, Madeline Kahn, and Sally Field (impersonations ensue). Raised in Maryland, Marti shares what pop culture touchstones informed their work. The conversation includes anecdotes about being recognized in New York City and Marti's audition for Titanique and hosting their show Stage Fright! Of course, queer rights and the state of the world come up, and Marti approaches it all with hope. #drag #LGBTQ
Co-owner of the birthplace of the modern LGBTQ+ civil rights movement and cofounder of the Stonewall Gives Back Initiative, Stacy Lentz has been fighting for queer rights for decades. Clear-eyed and hopeful for the next generations, Stacy and Tracy discuss how history is embedded in the foundation of the Stonewall Inn, preserving its right to fly the rainbow flag, and how she's inspired by young people. This is a thoughtful discussion recorded at the Stonewall Inn that connects LGBTQ+ history with the present and future that is not to be missed. #stonewallinn #lgbtqia #queer #lgbtqhistory
