Tonight’s guest, John Allen, was about eight years old when he saw a Sasquatch standing beside a tree on his cousin’s ranch in Northeast Texas. Instead of fear, he remembers feeling an overwhelming sense of peace and excitement. That childhood sighting stayed with him, but it wasn’t until decades later that he began pursuing what he’d wanted all along—a friendship with the beings he calls the “forest people.”
Tonight, John will share experiences spanning more than 12 years, including gift exchanges, what he describes as telepathic conversations, and a moonlit trip deep into the woods with a friend. During that outing, he says they watched dozens of Sasquatch silhouettes appear and fade from view across an open field. He’ll also explain how these experiences shaped his beliefs about Sasquatch and their ability to move between different realities. Tonight’s guest, Wayne Stapleton, had his first Sasquatch sighting while spending Christmas break at his grandmother’s cottage on a small lake in south-central Michigan. That experience frightened him to his core, but over time, he came to cherish his encounters with the Forest Giants.
Tonight’s guest has Bigfoot sightings and encounters regularly these days, but that hasn’t always been the case for her. Before the summer of 2011, she’d never seen a Sasquatch. Tonight’s first guest, Derin Franks, had his Bigfoot sighting in the William B. Bankhead National Forest, in North Alabama, in 2017. It happened on the last day of deer hunting season. Derin had just walked to the edge of a greenfield when he decided to sit down on a log, just inside the tree line. As he sat there, taking everything in, he suddenly heard a limb snap about 12 yards over his right shoulder. When he heard it, he stood up and turned around. When he did, he couldn’t believe his eyes…
