The Sarah Hanson-Young Podcast

Show Notes

At a time of low trust and ever-increasing rage and division, Sarah Hanson-Young is stepping forward to offer something different: proof that politics can be a force for good. Not one to be shy, Hanson-Young will also use this new platform to drop truth bombs and call out the bullshit. Politics is looking pretty broken right now and some people want us to believe it can't be fixed - but I think it can and should be a force for good.

Sarah says no government can guarantee bird flu will never reach Australia’s wild birds, but they can decide if these birds have habitat to call home. Sarah’s speci...

In this week’s episode, Sarah says something must change after an absolute horror weekend of domestic violence, particularly in NSW, where three women were allegedly murdered by men and a mother allegedly stabbed her three children, killing one. With the AFL and NRL grand finals approaching and data showing that rates of violence against women dramatically increase during major sporting events, policy makers and governments who control the purse strings must do more to end this crisis of viol...
