To celebrate the 20th episode of the podcast, we thought we'd examine one of the most classic (and controversial) conspiracies... The myth of the flat earth. Ask anyone off the street what comes to mind when they think of conspiracy theories, and there's a good chance that they'll reference the infamous Flat Earth Society, as its been subject to intense media scrutiny in recent years. Given how ridiculous the idea of a flat earth seems, Calum explores the idea that the Flat Earth Society was concocted by the CIA, acting as a psy-op to discredit the wider conspiracy movement. After all, they do have a very professional looking logo! Finally, in a podcast full of preposterous ideas, Luke brings things back down to Earth by introducing the conspiracy that Australia is actually a made-up country.
