It's hip and now
On Gardeners' World 2026 Episode 26 Recap, we ponder worse for wear pigeons, double down on centipedes versus slow worms, admire Sweetpea's latest houseplant purchase, investigate watering bags, and endorse a listener's views on Kim Wilde for Gardeners' World.
On Gardeners' World this week, Frances Tophill is at Exmouth Allotments with Cheryl Chessum, Sam Alford, Joy Simpson, Candice & Lyra Hartshorn, and Bruce. We meet Zahabia Naveed and Alan Wainwright on their Eccleshill allotment in Bradford, and Joe Swift chats with De-Graft Mensah on his Manchester allotment. Chloe Taylor gives us some top tips from her allotment plot in Scarborough and Tom Winfield shows us his wildlife haven on his allotment at the Pound Lane allotments in Exmouth. Finally Jeff Hordley and Zoë Henry, AKA Cain Dingle and Rhona Goskirk from Emmerdale, give us a tour of their hugely productive allotment in Yorkshire.
In our CCCUP, we congratulate Dwayne Black on his 1st Class Honours, Greg Anderton, Dan Stearne and Peter & Helleentje Walker on their Harrogate Flower Show Golds, and Patrick Smikle on his Best of Manchester Award 2026🏆
