Ep. 550: When I Can't Understand God, Will I Look To The Cross?
Guided by Faith: Daily Christian Devotions and Advice for Teens and Young AdultsShow Notes
What do you do when you cannot understand why God allows something painful or confusing to happen? In this final episode of the week, Jay looks at Hebrews and the cross of Jesus to remind teens and young adults that when we cannot understand God’s ways, we can look to the cross and see that God entered into our suffering, understands our pain, and has already demonstrated His love through Jesus. When life does not make sense, your circumstances do not have to determine your faith because you can view your trials through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and trust that God is good, He loves you, and He is ultimately redeeming all things.
