Drone World: The Podcast by CoptrzShow Notes
Welcome to Drone World, the drone podcast by Coptrz! In this episode, your host George Burne is joined by CEO and Co-founder of Trendspek, Derek Feebrey. Derek tells us what Trenspek is and how the company came about back in 2013. They also delve into the many use cases of the product, from asset inspection to surveying and even the digital recreation of a crime scene. Imagine being able to accurately map a road accident in just a few hours to get traffic flowing again, spoiler alert, you can!
Derek says "Say there's a major car accident on the M25. The cost of having multiple lanes shut during peak hour, if there was an accident that had a fatality, by opening it up quickly after doing a complete 3D model means they do the investigation later and open up the road. In Australia, for a major road in Sydney, it's about upwards of $5,000,000 per hour the road is closed as a cost to the local economy."
