Locked On NFL – Daily Podcast On The National Football League

Show Notes

Case Keenum made the start for the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football and led them to a dominant win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Keenum was the hero, but it was an overall team win and showed the power of this Bears unit. The Eagles looked terrible in the second half and without winning the trenches each week, they have fallen off as a team. The Minnesota Vikings finally gave up on JJ McCarthy on Monday and sent him to the New York Giants for a fifth rounder. One of the biggest blunders in recent history has to be the Vikings letting Sam Darnold leave and going to McCarthy. It is no shock a Harbaugh brother is who is acquire him as the New York Giants need more quarterback depth. This creates interesting questions with Jackson Dart. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without Baker Mayfield for a few weeks and their fans will get what they have been asking for. Jayden Daniels comes back for the Washington Commanders potentially this week and Marcus Mariota allows hope to still thrive after a thrilling upset over the Seattle Seahawks. Breece Hall will be out a few weeks, but that might be a blessing in disguise as it allows him to heal for the New York Jets.
