Show Notes

How do you sleep when someone you trusted has hurt you—and your mind won’t stop replaying what happened? You’re living with exhaustion and sleep deprivation, but bedtime brings more questions, more worry, and sleep anxiety that makes it difficult to rest.

In this episode, I’m joined by Christ-centered coach, author, and speaker Kirsten D. Samuel. After discovering her husband’s porn addiction, Kirsten faced betrayal, racing thoughts, and nights of waking overwhelmed by anxiety. She shares her journey through counseling, medical support, and learning to experience God’s peace in the middle of her storm.

Continuing our conversation from episodes 167 and 168, we talk about being honest with God when you’re hurting, finding someone trustworthy to confide in, and simple practices to help you settle when your mind feels overwhelmed. We also make room for the hard question: How do you trust God when you’re struggling to believe He cares?

If you’ve been searching for “night prayer Christian” or turning to sleep meditation while carrying pain you haven’t known how to express, I invite you to listen. Whatever your storm looks like, you don’t have to walk through it alone.

Have you ever climbed into bed already worried that you will spend another night tossing and turning? When you have been living with exhaustion and sleep deprivation, even the pressure to fall asleep can keep your mind and body from settling down. In this peaceful Christian night prayer, we bring the weight of the day to God and ask Him to help us release the worries we do not know how to put down. Rooted in Matthew 11:28–30, 1 Peter 5:7, Psalm 3, Proverbs 3:24, and 2 Timothy 1:7, this gentle sleep meditation will help you relax, remember God’s faithfulness, and receive His peace as you prepare for rest. You do not have to solve everything tonight. Let this prayer guide you as you cast your cares on God, trust Him with what remains unfinished, and rest beneath His loving protection.
