On September 11th, 2001, the world watched in horror as terrorists hijacked four planes, brought down the Twin Towers, and carried out sickening attacks that claimed nearly 3,000 lives. It was a day of unimaginable loss and tragedy. Families waiting for phone calls that would never come. Ordinary people facing extraordinary terror. But in the aftermath of that tragedy, as the world tried to understand what had happened, a different kind of story began to emerge… People who claimed to be survivors started to step forward.
