Today, I’m sitting down with Lauren, who shares her authentic, raw experience with post-SSRI sexual dysfunction (PSSD) and the lasting symptoms she says began after taking Zoloft. At 18, she asked all of the right questions about the risks. Years later, she found herself struggling to feel joy, attraction, or even love for her own family–let alone embrace her sexuality as a young woman.
Together, we talk birth control, the shocking normalization of antidepressants among young women, and why Lauren is fighting for better warnings, informed consent, and research to prevent PSSD from happening to the next generation.
