Fitness Unfiltered Live 2020: Mindful Marketing with James Smith, Tanya Filer, Paul Mort and Lawrence Judd
Fitness UnfilteredShow Notes
Welcome to a very special series of Fitness Unfiltered Podcasts; recordings of our very first Conference, FU Live 2020. Recorded virtually in May 2020 in the midst of COVID lockdown, FU Live brought together some of the biggest names in fitness, nutrition and health and raised over £27,000 for UNICEF in the process.
In this episode we bring together a group of people who need no introduction, to talk about marketing businesses at a time when marketing is incredibly important, but also at a time where people are struggling in so many ways to the point that traditional marketing methods may feel insensitive or cynical. We were so excited to be joined by the incredible James Smith, Tanya Filer, Paul Mort, and Lawrence Judd to talk through these issues, disagree, and debate. This is not one to be missed...

It's that weird time between Christmas and New Year when nobody knows what day it is, and everyone on the internet is arguing about whether to exercise and what to eat. We're going in... Social Media, Diet, Training, how to recognise good coaches through the mirages of social media and how to demonstrate that you might be a good coach on social media.
In this episode we explore the concept of how important it is for personal trainers to be in shape, amongst a few tangents.
On this episode we have Helen West as our guest. You may know Helen as half of Rooted Project, and co-author of Is Butter A Carb. She also works as a specialised dietitian in the field of adolescent eating disorders, and has a great understanding of the social and political caveats we must be aware of when talking about the topic.
