Fertile Crescent was one of the first regions human civilization started. Cultures of the Bronze Age fought over it for centuries and conflicts in this region now called the Middle East are still continuing. The war between Egypt and Hittites was one of the first recorded in history, and the battle of Kadesh of 1274 BC is probably the first we have a detailed account of. Both empires were vying for the dominance over this ancient city, and the engagement was bloody. Neither Egyptian pharaoh Ramesses II or Hittite king Muwatalli II are considered great generals, but both them implemented some very interesting tactical maneuvers during this battle. Was Nicholas II the worst monarch in history—or simply a tragic ruler caught in the collapse of an empire? This video follows his journey from a sheltered prince to the last Tsar of Russia. We begin with his privileged upbringing and the worldview shaped by his father, Alexander III, before examining his early blunders that alienated reformists and damaged his public image. From the Khodynka Tragedy and disastrous Russo-Japanese War to the 1905 Revolution and reluctant concessions in the October Manifesto, Nicholas’s reign was marked by hesitation and poor judgment. The rise of Rasputin, the mystic who gained influence over the imperial family through the illness of Alexei, further eroded public trust and tarnished the monarchy’s reputation. As the First World War unfolds, Nicholas assumes direct command of the army—an act that binds his fate to a series of military failures and home-front crises. Eventually, the February Revolution forces his abdication, bringing three centuries of Romanov rule to an end. In the conclusion, we assess whether Nicholas II deserves the title of history’s worst monarch or stands as a tragic example of a man overwhelmed by history itself.Russia’s Brutal Conquest of Siberia: https://youtu.be/swxok155gQAHow Did China Become So Big? https://youtu.be/vzQsdld7T_kWhy Was Germany so Fragmented in the Middle Ages: https://youtu.be/EiB8sMHxGqMEastern Roman Empire: Why So Many Civil Wars?: https://youtu.be/SK_yHooLu1sWhat Did the Europeans Think About the Eastern Romans?: https://youtu.be/Qu6NnWj1EZ8Were the Eastern Romans and Arabs Always at War?: https://youtu.be/nBMP6yRAOZgGreat Schism Between Greek and Latin Christianity: https://youtu.be/a6rWf0k8d78How Islam Split into the Sunni and Shia Branches: https://youtu.be/-85dXjgMiSURise of the Cossacks: https://youtu.be/UQ_ocyTRRIEVideo: Yağız Bozan and Murat Can YağbasanScript: Turgut GambarNarration: OfficiallyDevin✔ Merch store ► https://teespring.com/stores/kingsandgenerals ✔ Patreon ► https://www.patreon.com/KingsandGenerals ✔ Podcast ► https://kingsandgenerals.libsyn.com/ iTunes: https://apple.co/2QTuMNG ✔ PayPal ► http://paypal.me/kingsandgenerals ✔ Twitter ► https://twitter.com/KingsGenerals ✔ Facebook ► https://www.facebook.com/KingsGenerals ✔ Instagram ►http://www.instagram.com/Kings_Generals Production 00:00:00 - Was Nicholas II the Worst?00:02:06 - Childhood & Preparation for the Throne00:04:04 - Early Blunders & Khodynka Tragedy00:06:38 - Russo-Japanese War & 1905 Revolution00:11:25 - Rasputin, Alexei’s Illness & Court Scandals00:15:22 - WWI, Stavka Command & Home Front Crisis00:21:18 - February Revolution & Abdication (1917)00:21:42 - Verdict on Nicholas II’s ReignMusic courtesy of EpidemicSound #Documentary #NicholasII #Russia Learn more about your ad choices.
