🔹 **KJ Biermann pleads not guilty** Kroy "KJ" Biermann Jr., the 15-year-old son of RHOA's Kim Zolciak and former NFL player Kroy Biermann, was indicted on seven felony counts tied to an alleged encounter with another teenager at an Alpharetta, Georgia, gym. He's out on a $200,000 bond and must live at his mother's home, wear a GPS monitor and attend school virtually. His defense is also seeking to move the case to juvenile court, and the judge has yet to rule on that request. The allegations have not been proven in court, and he is presumed innocent.
🔹 **Sandra Birchmore case: jury selection begins** Jury selection in the trial of former Stoughton police officer Matthew Farwell begins today, October 6, in federal court in Boston. Farwell is accused of strangling 23-year-old Sandra Birchmore in her Canton apartment and staging her death as a suicide. Prosecutors allege their relationship began when she was a teen in the department's Police Explorers program. Farwell has pleaded not guilty and maintains Birchmore took her own life.
🔹 **Halle Berry denies child abuse claim** Berry's ex-husband Olivier Martinez alleges in court filings that she physically abused their 12-year-old son, and he's seeking sole custody. A Los Angeles judge granted a temporary order changing Berry's visitation until an October 16 hearing. Berry's attorney called the filing entirely meritless and deliberately misleading.
