164. Here's How To Diversify Your Income To Travel 6x Months A Year

Go Regulate Yourself

Show Notes

For the last 5 years, my husband and I have been travelling the globe for 6x months a year, every year. One of the questions we get asked the most is, "how do you afford to do what you do?". And I mean, valid. The way society has taught us to look at finances can make our personal choices look questionable- but now that I see it this way, I can't ever go back. In this episode today, I'm diving into the exact method of how we actually make money- and what it means to diversify your income. I'm sharing what bills we actually have, what rewriting finances has looked like after my bankruptcy, and the thing that I'm still learning. The truth is that you don't need millions of dollars in the bank or a really 'ludicrous' source of income to be able to travel like we do. The secret is eliminating high-costs, ensuring you don't have a lot of bills weighing you down when you're gone, and being open to your income flowing differently than through a traditional 9-5 pay cheque. If you've dreamed of creating a life on your terms, seeing the world, or maybe you're just looking for a way to make some extra cash every month... then this is the episode for you. So let's dive in, shall we? __________________________

What happens when the person you’ve always been no longer feels like the person you’re meant to be? In this exclusive re-release, I’m joined by Tanya Sisson and Cori Schuman for a conversation about identity deaths, outgrowing old versions of ourselves, and what happens when the life you once knew just doesn’t fit anymore. We’re talking about the uncomfortable shifts that happen when you start choosing yourself differently, the relationships that change along the way, and why protecting your energy sometimes means letting people misunderstand you. Because growth isn’t always pretty, and alignment doesn’t always feel good. Sometimes it means grieving who you used to be, questioning everything, and having the balls to keep going even when the people around you don’t understand where you’re headed. And if you’ve been feeling like everything is changing lately, this one might hit a little close to home. Let’s dive in, baby!

We’ve all heard of red flags and green flags when it comes to relationships. But what if the way we’ve been using them is actually doing more harm than good? In today’s episode, we’re diving into the good old-fashioned red flag versus green flag debate, why we’ve started treating people like they’re disposable, and how this obsession with finding the perfect partner might be getting in the way of building the relationships we actually want. Because here’s the thing: not every flaw is a red flag, and not every uncomfortable moment means it’s time to walk away. We’re human beings. We have baggage, we have patterns, and we have things we’re still learning how to navigate. So when did we start expecting people to show up perfectly, with zero maintenance required? Today, I’m sharing my own experience navigating the ups and downs of my marriage, why I think we’ve become a little too quick to throw in the towel, and a different way of looking at red flags that might just change how you approach your relationships. And no, this isn’t about tolerating toxic behaviour or staying in relationships that are hurting you. It’s about learning to recognize the difference between a genuine red flag and something that might just require a conversation, a little accountability, or a willingness to grow. So if you’ve ever found yourself questioning a relationship because of something you saw online, or wondering whether every bump in the road is a sign that something isn’t right, this episode is for you. Let’s dive in, baby! __________________________

Join Tanya and I as we have a conversation on all things, including: -being triggered on social media with the world as it is today -what outsourcing your power can lead to -why the current 'feminism' movement isn't working -how two things can be true at one time -why there isn't one right opinion, belief, or value system that applies to everyone -and how to stay in your own lane so you stop arguing, overexplaining, and matching negative energy Let's dive in, shall we?

Chances are, if you've opened any of your social media apps, turned on the radio or flipped on the news channel- you've likely heard about the Cornell 7 case that is circulating around. Personally, this has been weighing heavily on my heart as I reflect upon my own history of child sexual abuse, and other cases of harassment throughout my life. I feel a conversation on consent, accountability and the state of our world is crucial at this time- and in this episode, I'm sharing stories of my past (some never-before told), why discernment is so important right now, and how the movement of 'man vs bear' might be actually moving us further from the goalpost of what we want. While this episode isn't geared towards any 'one sided' beliefs, I do encourage you to let down your guard, consider everything presented from an open mind, and do your best to not let old conditioning and beliefs cloud your vision. So with that being said- let’s dive in, shall we? __________________________
