#390 Chicago Marathon Pro Field Recap (Vinny Mauri for President)

On this episode, the boys did a pro recap of the Chicago Marathon! What a race this was - despite slightly warm temps the race was still very fast up front and exciting!

We started talking about the women’s overall race where Hawi Feysa defended her title over Sharon Lokedi! The American women were led by Emma Grace Hurley’s debut in a stunning 2:20 time, the fastest debut ever by an American!

On the men’s side, Amos Kipruto turned the tables on defending champ and favorite Jacob Kiplimo, running the 5th fastest time all time in 2:01 low! We spent a lot of time covering the men’s American race, which was highly anticipated and definitely lived up to the hype. Vinny Mauri made a bold move around halfway but suffered cramps late, and veteran Clayton Young was able to take advantage and secure top American!
