Your Good Deeds Are Being Stolen, And You Don't Even Know It! || Ustadh AbdulRahman Hassan #AMAR

AMAR Academy: www.rahmaniyyah.com

In this lecture Ustadh AbdulRahman Hassan centres his reminder on two foundational conditions, for any action to be accepted by Allah: sincerity (ikhlas) and following the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ. He warns against the modern trap of documenting and sharing acts of worship on social media, noting that the Salaf went to extraordinary lengths to conceal their good deeds, yet today people are staging deeds they never even performed.

Ustadh AbdulRahman Hassan then draws on the story of Ibn Abbas correcting Muawiyah at the Kaaba, and the famous hadith of the archers at Uhud, to illustrate that even a single deviation from the Prophet's instruction carries consequences. The lecture builds into a broader diagnosis of the Muslim Ummah's current state of humiliation, connecting it directly to the abandonment of the Sunnah, the spread of riba and zina, and the chasing of dunya — citing the hadith of the Prophet ﷺ that Allah will not lift this humiliation until the Ummah returns to its religion as the early generation practised it.
