Valenti and Rico kicked off today's show by diving right into their thoughts on the Seahawks' trade for future Hall of Fame guard Quenton Nelson. This morphed into a larger conversation about the lack of aggressiveness from Brad Holmes in making similar bold moves. The guys covered some generic CFB and NFL topics briefly while keeping up their main ongoing conversation throughout the show.
The Seahawks traded for future HOF guard Quenton Nelson today and the guys explained why this is not good news for the Lions and for the supporters of Brad Holmes "we like the guys in the room" schtick. They heard from a few Lions fans via your calls and then wrapped the first hour with a CFB blitz.
Mike made it clear that the Lions' biggest miss was not trading for Joey Porter Jr. a few weeks ago. He hammered home this point while the guys continued to react to the Seahawks trading for future HOF guard Quenton Nelson.
Another trade was made today, this time the 49ers for DeForest Buckner, as the guys were opening up the final hour. They reacted to this before opening up the phone lines for Lions fans once more.
It has become evident that most of, if not all, of the people are frustrated over the lack of Lions big moves.
