In this episode I chat with David Solling Johnsen expert sea trout angler on the Westin pro team based in Denmark. His fishing is focused mainly in the southern part of Seeland, Denmark and the Islands, where he primarily targets seatrout on lures. David's knowledge of seatrout habits and behavior has been built up over years of studying one of the most difficult fish to target in saltwater. Targeting other species also David has within the last few seasons caught: 70cm+ Seatrout, 2kg+ Perch and 10kg+ Pike. A great angler with expert knowledge, David shares some of his most productive tactics on this podcast.

However his recent boat purchase coinciding with the appearance of Bonito on his local coastline in the Bristol channel has given him an angling summer to remember. Darren also talks about his recent trip to Nova Scotia where he targeted huge striped bass on the fly. Darren gives valuable advice on targeting mullet and bass on the fly and talks about some of his favourite patterns.
