Tonight we're going to a little cottage beside a lake, on a warm summer night, with the frogs calling out across the water.
Our character Breathe Bear is supposed to be asleep. But this isn't his bed, the pillow smells different, and every sound outside is one he doesn't know yet. Then he sees three tiny lights, far across the lake. Trying to figure out what these lights are helps him settle for sleep.
For nights when your child is wound up, somewhere unfamiliar, or just can't switch off. We'll get settled first, then tell a story, then leave you all beside a quiet lake with the frogs and the water on the shore.

These are longer stories told one chapter at a time, in order, so you can follow along from the first night to the last. I introduce each chapter, and Clark’s music plays underneath my voice to keep you company.
It’s the end of winter, and the sap is running. Uncle John gets out the old oxen, and they go up the track, through the wheat-field, all the way into the maple woods. There are buckets to hang and wood to saw and a big iron kettle to get going. Then the waiting, while the sap boils down. First syrup. Then sugar, hard in the little square pans. In this episode, we’re going to those woods, where the work is done and the little house has its door shut and the snow on the roof is melting, drip by drop, all night long.
In this bedtime story for kids, we meet Yuki, a very sophisticated cat with an even more sophisticated craving: sea salt and kelp swirl ice cream. But when this treat ends up in a freezer that's far too high for any princess to reach, Yuki must get creative. With a little determination and a lot of help from her endlessly enthusiastic pup-friend Koro, Yuki discovers that asking for help isn't weakness, and that sharing can turn a sweet treat into something even more special.
