The ChrissieCastShow Notes
Liane Moriarty has sold over 20 million copies of her various novels but still gets a thrill when she sees someone in the wild pull one out of their backpack. From humble beginnings as an ad copywriter responsible for writing direct mail, her gripping stories have now been translated into 40 languages and captured the attention of Hollywood heavyweights, and let’s face it, all of us who have unashamedly binged every single episode of Big Little Lies and 9 Perfect Strangers. She joins Chrissie to talk about her new book, Here One Moment, how she’s still trying to get back to the effortless way she wrote when she was 5 years old, why she was angry at herself when her sister Jaclyn got published first and what she does to unblock her creativity and get back into the flow. Enjoy this ramble with the down-to-earth literary superstar, Liane Moriarty. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
