In Matthew 10, Jesus sends out the twelve apostles with authority to heal, cast out demons, and proclaim that the kingdom of heaven is at hand - but he also warns them that discipleship will come with sacrifice, rejection, and suffering. Sam and Will discuss the difference between disciples and apostles, whether miraculous gifts continue today, why Jesus initially sends the Twelve only to Israel, how ministry should relate to money, and what it means to be “wise as serpents and innocent as doves.” If you enjoyed the episode, like, comment, subscribe, and share The Bible Show.
