If you're racing the Gold Coast Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km or 5km, there's plenty here to help you navigate the taper.

In this episode: The final 30km marathon session Why training with mates makes running easier Courtney's race-day nutrition plan Heart rate vs pace vs feel The biggest lessons from "The Experiment" Why there's no magic pill two weeks before race day

Liam opens with an apology. His DNF tax went down like a lead balloon, and his wife says he doubled down when Courtney called it.

Sep 25, 2026

Liam wants anyone who DNFs a sold-out marathon to pay 25% more to enter next year, refunded when they finish. Courtney isn't buying it.
