Show Notes
This time George, Dave and Georgia are joined by double-Scottish Bafta winner Lauren Lyle.
We don't normally make too much of a big deal out of the awards our guests have won but when they get nicknamed "the twins" and involve a story about Lauren's dad talking to basically every famous Scottish person in one night it's hard to ignore.
Along the way, the team discuss everything from her key roles so far Outlander, Vigil and Karen Pirie as well as growing up in New Zealand and being chased by a man pretending to be a shark on set.
The chat also covers how hosting her own podcast- She's a Rec - has helped her and her listeners champion the work of fellow female actors, directors and writers. Follow us on Instagram for updates on all aspects of the club. You can also click here to apply for Before The Lights membership.
This episode was recorded at Fiction Studios, situated at Before The Lights. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

This week we're joined by someone with a lot (almost too much) to say, which makes him a perfect guest.

Our latest guest has range. From appearances in some of the biggest biopics of all time, to starring in Wolf Alice videos and finding the time to perfect roly polys Lucy Boyton has it all. And every last inch of those talents (and the embarrassing mishaps/ crossed wires along the way) are covered in this week's podcast.
This week we're joined by actor/ writer/ Overcompensating creator model/ Mary Beth Barone's muse Benito Skinner (aka Benny Drama).
'Two actors and a rugby player join a zoom call' sounds like the start of a really rubbish joke, but it's actually the beginning of a very special conversation.
