ON AIR: Thursday - Sammy Virji chats with us about his SURPRISE ALBUM
George FM Drive with Sin & BrookSummary
George Drive hosts Sid and Brooke celebrate the surprise release of Sammy Virgi's new album, "Open Late," which dropped unexpectedly. They recount a recent secret mission where they were among the first to hear about the album, discussing its upbeat and club-friendly sound. The hosts express their excitement over the album's joyful tracks, highlighting the collaboration and energy that Virgi brings to his music.
In a lighter segment, the duo engages in a humorous conversation about beliefs, particularly around chiropractors and osteopaths, with Brooke expressing skepticism about their effectiveness. They invite listeners to share what they don't believe in, leading to a lively exchange of opinions. The show also features a new initiative where they aim to become the "mayors of Fridays," encouraging listeners to become citizens of their fictional country by texting in. This playful concept allows listeners to propose rules for their new nation, creating a fun and interactive experience for the audience.
