Summary
Ohio veterans express their discontent with Senator Sherrod Brown's policies, particularly regarding taxpayer-funded benefits for illegal immigrants. They argue that while they served in the military and fulfilled their commitments, Brown has failed to uphold his promises to veterans, including attempts to eliminate VA health care. The veterans feel that their sacrifices are overlooked in favor of providing benefits to undocumented individuals.
The criticism centers on Brown's voting record, which includes support for Social Security for illegal immigrants and significant funding during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, the veterans highlight Brown's collaboration with Senator Bernie Sanders to extend free health care to undocumented immigrants, which they perceive as a betrayal of the veterans' needs. They emphasize that their sacrifices deserve recognition and support over benefits allocated to those they believe do not deserve it.
