In this episode of the Helion Military History Podcast, Dr Christopher Brice talks to Dr Trine Engholm Michelsen about her compelling book on Jutta Graae. Jutta was a key figure in Danish intelligence and resistance during World War Two. Having started to pass intelligence to the British before World War Two, her efforts intensified after the German occupation of Denmark in 1940. Her story is remarkable and has been beautifully brought to life by Trine. A once forgotten story, Trine's research and best selling book has ignited huge interest in her native Denmark, including a docudrama series on Danish television in which Trine acted as a consultant. In late June 2026 Helion reprinted the book in English, so that Jutta Graae's story can reach a wider audience.
