Tales by the Fireside - Bedtime stories and sleep meditation

Show Notes

Tonight, we have a story of a fat little kitten and his sisters, a story of Puddle-ducks and buttonless clothing, of getting dirty and not being fit to be seen! And another, of a darling old washer-woman. Of a mysterious door in the side of the hill, and a very prickly encounter.

Proudly presenting the Tales of Tom Kitten and Mrs. Tiggy-winkle, by Beatrix Potter, in their original texts of 1907 and 1905 respectively.

I grew up being told the stories of Beatrix Potter, and I am very happy I can, in some way, continue this family tradition by reading these stories for you. I really do hope you enjoy them.

The episode starts with Tom Kitten, and Mrs. Tiggy-winkle begins at 08.20.
