A lot of people respect the Bible, but don’t really trust it. Others have questions but don’t feel like they can ask them out loud. In this message, Pastor Phil walks through some of the biggest doubts people have about the Bible and looks at whether it actually holds up. This isn’t just about information. It’s about whether you can build your life on it. Because if the Bible is trustworthy, it doesn’t just sit on a shelf. It speaks into how you live. 🙌 Connect with Us: New? - hopecity.ca/new...
More from Hope City Church
Being nice isn’t always the same as doing what’s right. Sometimes goodness means speaking up, making things right, or doing something that costs you. In this message, Pastor Ken McIntyre begins our new series, Building Blocks, by looking at what it means to grow in spiritual maturity. Through 2 Peter 1, we’re reminded that God has already given us everything we need to live a godly life. Our response is to keep growing in the character of Jesus, starting with goodness: knowing what’s right, s...
For 50 years, God has been faithful to Hope City Church. We’ve seen lives changed, people come to know Jesus, families restored, and stories of faith that have shaped generations. When life gets hard, it’s easy to wonder what God is doing. In Romans 5, Pastor Phil reminds us that suffering doesn’t have to be wasted. God can use the difficult seasons of life to produce perseverance, character, and hope. Our hope isn’t that everything will work out exactly the way we want. Our hope is Jesus. Because of Him, we have peace with God, we stand in grace, and we can trust that God is still at work, even when the winds are blowing. 🙌 Connect with Us: New? - hopecity.ca/ne...
