Richter slayed the beast, but Joshua, and Wyatt paid the price for that berserking boar's hide. Now The Fort must band together to try and salvage what's left of their hunting party - they must muster what little medical expertise resides in town, and hope that answers can be gleamed from the gore, and fast.
For it's many years, The Fort, has had many monsters. Some of them men, or women - others clothed in fur, and others made of nothing but air, and a whisper, that sends all those who strain their ears to hear it, nose first in a sea of madness.
Without knowing our past, we may never discern, with clear eyes, our present or future - so today I ask you to come with me, back into the past, before Peggy, before Reverend Albit, back to the early days of The Fort, when it was nothing but crooked shops, and crooked people living in a pocket of ramshackle civilization.

Edward August Hall, as it so happens, has not seen it all. Faced with the terrifying truth that there is more then meets his most terrible eye, he contemplates the nature of his power and how he may gain even more. Paul is gone, and Garrett is at a lose, refusing to believe the unbelievable. And lost somewhere very dark, is a man, losing his mind.
Paul Collins, and Garrett Franklin are at their wits end. Having stumbled through the ancient caverns and tunnels beneath The Fort, they seem no closer to finding their way out, or their purpose for being there in the first place. Plans have been laid by Mother Cyprian, with the help of Dr. Avery, but like all plans that have come before, they rarely go as planned.
Wood will rot or splinter, glass will shatter, metal will bend or break, and everything one day will return to the dust.
