Show Notes
This week Beau continues his series all about the English monarchy. Picking up from the death of Bloody Mary, he begins the long and storied saga of ‘Good Queen Bess’, Elizabeth the First. The early part of her reign was a period of consolidation; an exercise in NOT getting married, NOT getting involved in foreign wars, and trying as best possible NOT to stir the hornets nest of religion, one way or the other.
