Youth Gone Mild PodcastShow Notes
In Season 1, Episode 19, a Double Dose of Denim Week continues on the Youth Gone Mild Podcast, where it's, + 2 episodes - 1 week = zero apologies. For this episode, host Gen X Joe has one of the biggest, current Canadian rock bands on the show, Atomik Train. Founders François Babin: aka Bab's on vocals, and Junior Bourcier on lead guitar, join Gen X Joe to introduce the band to the US and advise listeners they're also a sonic force of nature. According to Gen X Joe, not only are they a sonic force with their music, but when François and Junior get together, it's a no-holds-barred comedy fest. But, all joking aside, François and Junior are serious when discussing Atomik Train's self-titled debut album, which they call a full-throttle ride through rebellion, resilience, and raw emotion. Produced by John Webster (Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Motley Crue) and recorded at Montreal's Planet Studios, the album features 11 explosive tracks. This episode will either make you an immediate fan of Atomik Train or leave you scratching your head wondering what Gen X Joe got himself into!
