In 2012, a family in Gary, Indiana claimed something evil had taken over their home. They reported footsteps, shadows, strange voices, violent behavior, and children acting as if they were possessed. Then the case reached a hospital — where a DCS caseworker documented something almost impossible. According to her report, a nine-year-old boy walked backward up a wall toward the ceiling. Police, doctors, child services, and a Catholic priest all became involved, and multiple exorcisms followed. In this episode, I’m breaking down what was actually documented, what the family claimed happened, and the explanations that make this case even stranger. Good luck sleeping tonight. 🪓

I have three new disturbing stories for you this week, and each one gets worse the longer it goes. In the first, a woman finds a missing child poster with her own childhood photo on it. Then, someone whose best friend disappeared eighteen years ago finds a video online showing her tied to a chair. And in the last story, a girl grows up thinking it’s completely normal for her mom to make her practice looking dead. Three very different nightmares. Good luck sleeping tonight.

A fictional horror story from Scared With Jess. A teenager gets one of those old chain emails warning her to forward it to thirteen people before midnight. She deletes it. Later that night, while she’s home alone, someone starts pounding on her bedroom door. After that, she starts seeing the same figure in her dreams, waking up freezing cold, and having thoughts that don’t always feel like her own. ♥️ Good luck sleeping tonight. 🪓 Linktree: https://linktr.ee/scaredwithjess
