Show Notes
Well, what have we got here? That's right, it's our first guest episode of season 2! This week, we're joined by Alex to talk about Machine Head's magnum opus.
Disclaimer - Rich and Alex were in the same room during this recording, though using separate mics, and we didn't realise until afterwards that they had actually bled into each others audio. Apologies for the occasional voice doubling or any sudden cuts!
Key talking points - Some trouble pronouncing Davidian, Alex misses a good gig, a prickly band leader, Rich gets all his facts wrong, Metallica level lyrics, 'underdub', an inaccurate Nickelback comparison, Kyle finally understands Rolling Stone and we make a little time for 'food for thought'.

We end our trip down 90s-Memory-Lane with one of the biggest rock bands on earth, who continue to put the 'fun' in funk.
After a week off, melodies and interesting song writing make a comeback, courtesy of Courtney Love. But does it Hit So Hard or is it Awful?
Continuing our trip through the late 90s, we lend our ears to Coal Chamber and spend most of the hour talking about Nu-Metal as an industry....
