415. The Art of Making: Creativity, Friendship & Enchantment with Jackie Rose
House of Joy- Christian Life CoachingShow Notes
You guys, I cannot wait for you to meet my new friend Jackie Rose. ❤️
I found her work a few months ago and immediately fell down the biggest rabbit hole. Her knitting patterns, her colors, her beautiful yarn, her videos. I wanted to make EVERYTHING she made. 😂
But what I fell in love with even more was the way she sees the world.
The way she notices beauty and pays attention. The way she lets her curiosity lead her. The way she takes something as ordinary as yarn and turns it into something full of meaning and memory and love.
And somewhere along the way, I made the most unexpected, enchanting new friend.
We originally recorded this conversation for my Life Mentoring School ladies, but it was so special I just had to share it with all of you.
And we have a very fun surprise! Jackie designed a gorgeous Advent shrug just for our community, and we're going to knit it together this Advent season!
Even if you've never picked up knitting needles in your life, I think you're going to love this conversation.
It's all about creativity, friendship, beauty, and what happens when we make a little more room for wonder in our ordinary lives.
Listen to today's House of Joy, and then come knit with us! 🧶💕

Have you ever felt a little restless, even though you have a really good life?
What are you getting really good at thinking?
I've been thinking a lot lately about the difference between trying to fix your life and learning how to tend to it.
Are you the one everybody calls?
Dear ones, today we're talking about one of the sneakiest habits that steals our energy, our creativity, and our sense of enchantment: arguing with reality.
