Summary
Danny Pellegrino reflects on the recent changes in his life and the podcast, including the introduction of a new theme song after nearly a decade. He acknowledges that while some listeners may not appreciate the shift, he feels it brings a fresh energy to the show. As he navigates paternity leave with two young children, he shares his excitement about returning to the microphone, despite the challenges of balancing family and work.
The discussion shifts to the current seasons of "Real Housewives of New York" and "Real Housewives of Potomac." Pellegrino expresses relief that the Roni cast has moved off a prolonged trip that felt stagnant and critiques the dynamics of the Orange County franchise, suggesting a potential reboot due to its declining quality. He highlights the need for fresh faces and storylines, advocating for new cities to be explored in the franchise.
In Potomac, he praises the evolving relationships among the cast, particularly the tension surrounding Robin's podcast and the fallout from gossip. He notes the awkwardness of a recent birthday party that lacked the husbands, emphasizing the importance of having significant others present at such events. Pellegrino also expresses concern for Tia's relationship, pointing out red flags and the need for her to prioritize her well-being. Overall, he finds both franchises engaging, despite their ups and downs, and looks forward to discussing more as the seasons progress.
