Jordan Lambropoulos was last on KICPOD in August 2023 when she told us her story of living with Chron’s disease and undergoing a stem cell transplant. This week Jordy is back for KICBUMP after giving birth to her twin girls Indigo & Capri in January. Jordy always assumed she would be infertile, so it was a huge shock to herself, and her medical team when she discovered she was pregnant, plus pregnant with twins! In this episode Steph catches up with Jordy to talk about her pregnancy, the complications with her Chron’s and wearing an ostomy bag, an emergency C-section, contracting congenital CMV, and what this means for her girls’ health and day-to-day life. More from Bump with Steph & Laura
Laura’s algorithm has been serving her a lot of parenting advice lately, and some of it is making her question decisions she already feels good about. Today, we’re unpacking Dr Erica Komisar’s views on daycare, the pressure to put motherhood ahead of everything else, and why so much parenting content leaves mums feeling guilty.
What's the pettiest thing you've ever done as a parent? We came across a hilarious TikTok from @kristenbright sharing some very petty parenting moments, and naturally, we had to unpack our own. From tiny acts of revenge to the ridiculous things we do when we're running on empty... this is a reminder that we all do it!
It feels like everyone around us is overwhelmed right now, so today we’re getting into why everything suddenly feels like a lot. We’re coming out of winter, the weather is warming up, life is getting busier, and there’s suddenly this pressure to get back into gear.
Today, we're so lucky to be sitting down with Shameless Media co-founder, Michelle Andrews.
